What we do?
As parents, we all want our children to thrive. But sometimes, children face challenges that affect their ability to learn, grow, or function at their best. This is where our psychoeducational and developmental assessment services become a powerful tool in your child’s journey.
Psychoeducational assessments offer a complete picture of what influences a child's learning and development.
A full assessment looks at many areas, including thinking skills, how they perceive information, academic abilities, and social-emotional well-being. The assessment typically takes 4 to 6 hours, split over two morning sessions. This helps keep your child engaged and comfortable.
The full process includes:
An initial interview with parents to get background information and understand their concerns.
The assessment sessions, followed by scoring and interpretation.
A detailed report with findings and recommendations.
A feedback session to discuss results and next steps.

What we do?
Starting "big school" is a significant milestone, but how do you know if your child is truly ready? A School Readiness Assessment helps determine if your child has developed the foundational skills needed to cope with the academic, emotional, and social demands of formal schooling.
We offer assessments to determine your child's readiness for school. These assessments also help understand their learning profile for ongoing academic success.
This assessment explores key developmental areas, including:
Cognitive and language abilities
Fine and gross motor coordination
Early literacy and numeracy skills
Emotional maturity and social readiness
Attention span, task persistence, and independence
The assessment aims to provide a well-rounded understanding of your child’s developmental stage. We then offer clear, practical recommendations to support a confident and successful transition into Grade 1. Following the assessment, you will receive a comprehensive report and a feedback session to discuss the findings and next steps.
We also provide school readiness reports aligned with the requirements of both the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) and the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) for official submission where needed.
